Doug Gray is an executive coach, leadership consultant, speaker and author. For the last 22 years, he has partnered with executives and managers in the energy, finance, and manufacturing sectors to clearly understand, develop, and refine their skills. He does this by helping executives build awareness of their strengths, aiding them in defining action steps to maximally leverage those strengths, and establishing accountability as related to growth targets. In addition to his one on one work with executives, he frequently speaks on business productivity and leadership. One of his favorite questions is, “How can I help you attain what you need?” Doug measures his success by his client’s achievements. His books, Passionate Action, 5 Steps to Creating Extraordinary Success in Life and Work (2007) and Adventure Coaching, a Guidebook for Anyone in Life and Work (2004) have helped thousands apply proven success techniques. He co-developed the Leadership Development Institute at the University of Maryland and taught there for 7 years, and he is a former adjunct faculty member at several colleges including NC State University. Doug’s clients range from small business owners to Fortune 50 companies. Those clients include Microsoft, American Express, Husqvarna, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and the Shaw Power Group. He has coached and trained 500+ leaders across multiple business lines, throughout the U.S., from presidents and the CFO to emerging leaders. Doug and his wife Susan, and their two high-school aged daughters, live near Charlotte, N.C. He is active with Rotary and his church. Additionally, Doug founded an adventure race series that benefits the American Diabetes Association and the U.S. National Whitewater Center.
